Public Safety Cadet Program

Public Safety Cadet's Group

The Public Safety Cadet’s Group is a team of young adults, ages 14 to 20 years-of-age.

Purpose: To offer young adults the opportunity to obtain the most information the Sheriff's Department can give, in regard to career paths in law enforcement and Fire/EMS.

Activities: Tours related to law enforcement and Fire/EMS, guest speakers, discussions and projects. A "ride-along" project is offered to the members of Cadets. The member can ride in a squad with a Sheriff's Deputy, during the deputy's shift.

Meetings: One Monday a month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and continues year-long.

Can I join? If you are interested in a law enforcement career or becoming a Fireman and are between the ages of 14 and 20, please feel free to email Deputy Chris Madle at Chris.Madle@shawanocountywi.gov.
Cost is $25.00.
