The picture above is what the Holding Tank Pumping Report form looks like. This 8 1/2" x 11" letter is sent out to property owners in December for the following year.
Failure to have your Holding Tank serviced, recorded, or form signed that pumping was not needed prior to the assigned deadline date, typically February 1st, will result in a special charge on your property taxes. If you need a copy of your letter, it will cost $5 to have it re-printed by the Planning & Development Department or it can be emailed to you for free.
A list of licensed pumpers for septic systems and holding tanks is available online. Please see the List of Licensed Pumpers for Septic Tanks found in the Forms and Documents tab under the Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems category. The asterisk indicates those who have the ability to self-enter the servicing into our system. If your service provider self-enters, you will not need to provide or send back your Holding Tank Pumping Report form.
Please also note that some pumpers may not sign your letter or self-enter your pumping until payment is made and cleared.
REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU RETURN THE PUMPER SIGNED AND DATED LETTER, THE SERVICING COMPANY RETURNS THE SIGNED AND DATED LETTER, OR SERVICING COMPANY SELF ENTERS, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THAT YOUR SERVICE IS RECORDED. YOU SHOULD CONTACT THIS DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE DATE TO ENSURE YOUR SERVICE HAS BEEN RECORDED.
A Blank Holding Tank Pumping Report Form can be found in the Forms and Documents tab under the Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems category, please make sure all of your property information is completed on it so we can record your servicing accurately. This includes: sanitary permit #, tax parcel #, site address, and your mailing address. The blank form does not have property information or a deadline due date on it.
For any questions please call the Planning & Development office at 715-526-6766.
