  • GIPAW - Governmental Information Processing Association of Wisconsin - To provide leadership in facilitating the exchange of information and experience among organization members for the benefit of information processing management field. To develop technical and educational material for, and to encourage sound, proper and ethical practices in the field of information processing management.

  • URISA - Urban and Regional Information Systems Association - The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is a nonprofit association of professionals using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other information technologies to solve challenges in state/provincial, regional and local government agencies.

  • WAPA - Wisconsin Chapter of the American Planners Association - WAPA, the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Planning Association, was created to facilitate the participation of members of the National American Planning Association ("APA") within Wisconsin.

  • WISCLINC - Wisconsin Land Information Clearinghouse - WISCLINC is a clearinghouse effort in Wisconsin maintained by the Wisconsin State Cartographer's Office. WISCLINC is part of a network of NSDI nodes which contribute to the progress of federal initatives such as Geospatial One-Stop and The National Map. WISCLINC pulls together records of geospatial data, land records websites and statewide land information inventory survey.

  • Wisconsin County Code Administrators - The purpose of the Wisconsin County Code Administrators (WCCA) is to keep private citizens and public officials accurately informed of contemporary problems and potential solutions involved in the administration of county development codes by encouraging and strengthening professionalism in the administration of Wisconsin County Land Development Codes

  • Wisconsin Land & Water Conservation Association - The Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association, Inc. (WLWCA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization representing Wisconsin’s County Board Land Conservation Committees and Departments. Our Mission is “to assist Land Conservation Committees and Departments with the protection, enhancement and sustainable use of Wisconsin’s natural resources and represent Land Conservation Committees and Departments through education and governmental interaction.”

  • Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association - The Office of the Register of Deeds (noted often hereafter, as ROD) was established in Wisconsin in 1836. Before that, land registration was handled by the Register in Probate. The 1848 Wisconsin Constitution established the ROD as a permanent element of the county-level governmental structure. Each county in Wisconsin has a Register of Deeds.

  • Wisconsin State Cartographers Office - The Wisconsin State Cartographer's Office (SCO) is a unit within the Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With an outreach mission, the SCO gathers, maintains and disseminates information about mapping and geo-spatial data in the state.

  • Wisconsin Towns Association - Wisconsin Towns Association (WTA) is a non-profit, non-partisan statewide organization created under s. 60.23(14) of the Wisconsin Statutes to protect the interests of the state's 1,259 towns and to improve town government.

  • WLIA - Wisconsin Land Information Association - Founded in 1987, WLIA is a grassroots organization representing a collection of concerned professionals working to develop, maintain, and apply a network of statewide land information systems. We are united by an interest in land records modernization, GIS, and related technologies, and by the need for government policies and programs that support their efficient and effective application. WLIA is open to individual, non-profit and corporate members.

  • WLIP - Wisconsin Land Information Program - The Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP) is a voluntary, statewide program that provides financial and technical support to local governments for land records modernization efforts.

  • WSLS - Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors - The Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors is a statewide organization representing the majority of Land Surveyors licensed to practice in Wisconsin.
