Birth to 3 is Wisconsin’s early intervention program for infants and toddlers—from birth until their third birthday—who have developmental delays or diagnosed disabilities. The program is voluntary and focuses on supporting your child’s development through everyday routines in natural environments such as your home, child care, or other community settings.
Services and supports are individualized for each child and family. Birth to 3 may be a good fit when there are concerns about a child’s development or when a child has a diagnosed condition related to developmental delay. Eligibility is determined through an evaluation and assessment process that looks at your child’s strengths, needs, and developmental progress.
