returned to them after filing, please include self
addressed, stamped envelope
(with proper postage amount)
along with your documents for filing.

Clerk of Court Responsibilities
MANDATORY E-FILING EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2017
- Maintain Court Case Management - Criminal, Family, Small Claim and Forfeitures (includes DNR, traffic and Ordinances)
- Maintain Judgment and Lien dockets (Tax warrants, Unemployment warrants, Workers Compensation warrants, Hospital liens, Construction liens. Small claims judgments & large Civil judgments
- Collection/Enforcement of fines, forfeitures and restution
- Maintains list of Certified Jurors.
- Process passport applications. including taking of passport photos
All attorneys & Pro Se Small Claims filers that file 10 or more cases per year must efile cases effective May 1, 2017. Please review the process at https://www.wicourts.gov/ecourts/efilecircuit/index.jsp
