Mission Statement

The mission of the Building Maintenance Department is to maintain an environment that is safe, pleasant, and functional for all employees and the general public. The Department performs periodic maintenance on all equipment, furniture, fixtures, and grounds. Determines when potential costs may be prohibitive and when recommendations for replacement should be made. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.


The Building Maintenance Department is responsible for ensuring that the Courthouse facilities and systems are functional, and available for use by the other departments to perform their duties for the Public. We are also responsible to ensure that the systems necessary for the Jail, Sheriff’s Department, Work Release
