It is the mission of this committee to:
- Establish procedures for receiving and processing requests from the public for information under Section 324, Subtitle C, Title III, The Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act of 1986.
- To develop, implement, and exercise the emergency plan required by Section 303, Subtitle A, Title III, The Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act of 1986.
- Educate the public about risks from accidental and routine releases of chemicals, and work with facilities to minimize the risks.
