"Baby Think It Over" Program

The Baby Think It Over Program is an award-winning education program used for teen pregnancy prevention and parenting education. The program was designed as an aid for educators, doctors and other professionals to help young people make responsible, informed choices about parenting. The infant simulators and accessories provide a realistic parenting experience.

The Baby Think It Over Simulator:

Has a lifelike vinyl body, 21 inches long, 6.5 to 7 pounds
Is anatomically correct, male and female
Has a recording of a real infant cry
has a tamper resistant electronics monitor total simulation time, rough handling, neglect and total crying time.
Has temperament settings of easy, normal and cranky.

The infant Simulator, or Baby, cries at random, at unpredictable times 24 hours a day and requires the student to care for it by inserting and turning a care key in its back. The care key must be held in place from 1 to 30 minutes, approximating the amount of time needed to care for an infant. A care key is used in the Baby's back rather than a bottle in the Baby's mouth to reinforce the fact that a baby does not cry only when it's hungry. The Baby will also cry if held in a position it does not like or it it is roughly handled. The Baby will also cry if its head is not supported well. Tamper resistant electronics monitor how will the Baby is cared for by reporting the total simulation time, neglect, rough handling, and total minutes of crying.
