The Family Caregiver Support Program offers information, support, and resources to support caregivers in their roles, and to keep Shawano County residents as independent as possible in the community. Trained staff is available to listen to your situation and provide you with assistance and links to available services and resources. This service is available to caregivers who help or care for persons, age 60 or older, or individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders, regardless of age. This program can also assist grandparents or relative caregivers, 55 years of age or older, who are caring for children under the age of 19, or who are caring for a relative with a disability, who is 19 to 59 years of age. |
