| Real Estate Assessed Values |
Assessment values are placed on property at the municipal level by the Municipal Assessor. After the municipal assessor places a value on property, the assessor is required to notify the taxpayer of the value placed on the property and the time and place of the Board of Review for the municipality. If the taxpayer does not agree with the assessment placed on the property, an appointment at the Board of Review should be made. If you have questions about the assessments, you need to contact the Municipal Assessor.
