One of the best sources of information regarding criminal drug-related activity are concerned citizens alerting the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office about irregular behavior or simply where something appears to be out of place. To promote a partnership with the community to detect the presence of marijuana grows or drug manufacturing locations, and to relay information regarding those who may be using or selling controlled substances, our office maintains a drug tip line for reporting this activity.
Any person may call anonymously. It is not required to leave your name, phone number or any other personal information.
To leave an anonymous message about this or any other criminal activity, an individual may do so by calling 715-526-9200. Those wishing to speak directly with an investigator can phone our dispatch center.
Each year Shawano County receives reports of marijuana grows within our community. Many more go undetected or unreported because people may not know what they are looking at or if they can remain anonymous. These pictures presented here are examples of what marijuana looks like when being grown. |
