To provide information technology services in support of Shawano County's business needs. Every area of County Operations is affected by information technology. Our objective is to supply the necessary tools in providing a better service to the taxpayer at a cost effective price.
Description
The Shawano County Technology Services Department provides information technology services in support of Shawano County's business needs. These services include, but are not limited to:
Technical Guidance and Direction
Strategic Planning
Systems Design, Implementation, and Computer Programming
Computer Networking
Training
Safeguarding of Shawano County's Technological Assets
The scope of these services range from applications in Geographic Information Systems to Management Information Systems. This encompasses areas of cartography, financial information, jail administration, law enforcement, case management, property listing and taxation, public health, zoning and sanitation as well as other areas in county government.
